Welcome to Northumberland Liberal Democrats
In December, the Government announced a new single authority was to be created to cover the whole of Northumberland, replacing the County Council and 6 District Councils. The first elections for the new Council will take place in May 2008 and the new authority will begin on 1 April 2009.
The Liberal Democrats will be campaigning across Northumberland. Our intention is that this website will be a useful resource for local people to find out more about the local Liberal Democrats and the campaigns we are running.
